Consultation on the Draft British Standard for Social Value

The British Standards Institute would like to inform you that the BS 8950 draft is now available for public comment for a 2-month consultation period. Please visit https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2018-02876 to review and comment on the draft.
The closing date for the consultation phase is midnight (UK time) on Thursday 26th March 2020.

If you haven’t used the Standards Development Portal previously, or you just need a quick refresher on how to submit comments correctly, please see the Standards Development user guide- https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/Home/SDUserGuide.

Although anyone may comment on the public consultation, if you are submitting comments on behalf of your organization, we request that, where possible, you liaise with relevant people within your organization and that comments for the organization are submitted by one person. This is to avoid conflicting comments being submitted by different members of the same organisation and to avoid the submission of repeated comments.

Please note that only comments submitted electronically through the online Standards Development system by the date given will be accepted. Please note that the online Standards Development system will automatically close at midnight on 26th March 2020 and stop receiving comments.
