The Social Audit Network invites you to a free lunchtime event which will focus on the theory and practice of social accounting and audit.

Come along to meet others who are interested in measuring social value. We will give an overview of the social accounting principles and process, share good practice examples, and Social Audit Network Directors will be on hand to answer any queries that you may have about social accounting.
The event is ideal for organisations wanting to prove, improve and account for the difference they make.
We will provide light refreshment but please bring your lunch along – this is a social occasion!

Social AUDITOR Workshop – Liverpool

Social AUDITOR Workshops are aimed specifically at those people wishing to become SAN approved Social Auditors. Participants should have sound prior knowledge and/or experience of the social accounting and audit process either by having used it for their own or another organisation or by having attended one of SAN’s two-day PIA or similar SAN recognised training.
This Workshop will provide you with everything that you need to carry out a SAN Social Audit.

Prove Improve Account 2-day Workshop
The two-day Prove Improve Account Workshop is aimed at people who wish to understand the Four Step social accounting process either in order to facilitate the process with social economy organisations or to use it within their own organisation. The cost is £375 including a copy of the social accounting and audit Guide & CD and one year’s access to the SAN online learning platform + refreshments throughout. the 2 days and lunch on both days.

The Workshop will go through the Four Step process in detail from the perspective of a facilitator/trainer and will include:
- Thinking It Through: To provide a brief overview of social accounting and audit
- To introduce Step One: What difference do we want to make…?
- To introduce Step Two: How do we know we are making a difference
- To introduce Step Three: What is the difference we are making – show how to collate and analyse the data and draft the social accounts
- To introduce Step Four: Can we prove that we made a difference (the social audit panel process that verifies the social accounts)
